Sanitize is a site specific performance, that was located in an old bathroom in Brighton Museum of Old Police Cells. The helmet is made from sewn-together domestic sponges and whilst being worn, is used to clean the bathroom walls and plumbing. The piece depicts the frustration produced by the struggle to ‘clean up’ the undesirable thoughts of the mind.
